The Swimmers

Here are just a few of the amazing athletes you'll meet while watching SYNC OR SWIM.

Anna Kozlova

Originally from Russia, Anna is the first three-time Olympian in the history of U.S. Synchronized Swimming. At 31 she is the oldest member of Team U.S.A. and has been swimming longer than many of her teammates have been alive. Having placed 4th in both of her previous Olympic competitions, the Athens Games is her last chance to win an Olympic medal.

Becky Jasontek

After a medical emergency ruined her chances of making the 2000 team, Becky is back to try to win a spot in 2004.

Tammy Crow

One month after the Olympic trials began, swimmer Tammy Crow was involved in a tragic accident. Physically and emotionally devastated, Crow was sidelined from competition for many months. In the months leading up to the Games, she attempts to recover and regain a spot on the team.

Andrea Nott

Andrea Nott began synchronized swimming as a fun afterschool activity. More than a decade later, she spends more time in the pool than most people do at their desks during a typical workday. Despite her experience, Nott is one of the younger swimmers to compete in the Olympic trials.

Esther Williams

Appearing in over 26 movies — most of them 1950's MGM swimming musicals — Esther Williams is considered by many to be the "godmother of synchronized swimming." She makes a cameo appearance in Sync or Swim when she meets Team USA and encourages them to go for the gold!
